Grade School Assessment

Riverdale administers various statewide and benchmark assessments throughout the year, along with in-class assessments.

OSAS

OSAS, or Oregon Statewide Assessment System, assesses students’ mastery of Oregon content standards. OSAS Online includes the English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and English Language Proficiency assessments.

STAMP

Students learning a second language take Avant Standards-based Measurement of Proficiency (STAMP). This online, adaptive assessment engages students with real-world content and measures student skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Benchmark Assessments

At Riverdale Grade School, we use Curriculum Associates’ i-Ready Program as our diagnostic, benchmark assessment and as a tool for adaptive instruction. This program allows us to monitor student progress on grade-level standards for English Language Arts and math and allows us to differentiate instruction for students within the classroom setting.

Students will take benchmark assessments in the fall, winter and spring.
